Home Insurance extra contents cover for Christmas

With Christmas just around the corner it's easy to get swept up in the preparations for the big day. The last thing you're thinking about right now is whether your home insurance will cover you for all of those extra presents and gifts that you receive. However, not wishing to be doom merchants at this time of year, we would strongly recommend that you check what cover you have under your home insurance contents policy.

Some insurance policies contain automatic seasonal increase clauses to give you the extra cover that you may need, others however do not. Better to be safe than sorry, additional contents cover is not usually very expensive but will give you peace of mind that you will be covered in the event of a claim.
