We won't bore you with statistics but Employment related claims can be both costly and time consuming. With this cover, you are covered for claims made up to a total of £250,000 in any one policy period.
What is an Employment Practice claim?
An Employment Practice Claim means any Claim against the Directors and Officers, and the Company, that arises out of any Employment Practice Dispute.
- Employment Practice Dispute means any Claim brought by any past, present, or potential employee of the Company which alleges:
- any breach of any employment contract;
- wrongful dismissal or termination of employment (whether actual or constructive);
- unfair dismissal;
- unequal pay;
- unlawful deduction from wages;
- discrimination including on grounds of sex, sexual orientation, pregnancy, age, religion, race, disability;
- sexual or other harassment in the workplace;
- victimization in the workplace;
- employment related misrepresentations;
- wrongful deprivation of any career opportunity,employment or promotion
- wrongful discipline or evaluation or
- failure to adopt adequate employment or workplace policies or procedures.
The Limit of Liability for this cover is £250,000 in the aggregate (ie. the maximum value of all claims made during the policy period). The excess in relation to these claims is £2,500.
